Whoa, this is really exciting! All that was commercially released before this were the opening and closing themes. By the way, despite the public credit to Elmer for the opening theme, years ago when I interviewed Peter he revealed that was actually his own composition, while Elmer’s theme ended up as the closing credits theme. I think some kind of contract required Elmer get credit for the opening theme too, but it’s Peter’s:

Just interesting - is this complete release for each episode?
I mean episodes 1,2,4,5,6 are presented with more cues than 3rd one...

Yeah it's also a little odd that it's presented out of order from the rest.

"FALLEN ANGELS VOL. 1 features music from all six of the first season episodes. Bernstein’s musical palette for the series would range from full orchestra to various band combinations. One had a piano, drums, bass, slide guitar, trumpet, and trombone; another had a double-string quartet, two horns, and a flute. One was all synth."

Maybe it's the all synth one, stuck on the end as a bonus somehow?

This is really wonderful !!

I was looking at a second hand copy of the old Verve soundtrack album just a few days ago and wondering how much score there is on it and if it is worth buying...

So this is totally a timely release for me and I'll buy it. If only the front cover's title had that yellow-ish design as the CD itself, to avoid the stark B&W, it would have been perfect wink

It *was* worth buying for the right price, because it had Peter Bernstein's excellent opening theme and Elmer Bernstein's excellent closing theme (but no other score):

Now that this Dragons Domain album is coming out, there's no reason to get that old album unless you want the songs.

FYI, some episodes had very little score in them and the running was what Mr. Bernstein requested.

Enjoy,

We tried to represent as much material as we could from each particular episode, some episodes had longer scores than others, but we think this pretty much captures the bulk of it. I will say that the scores from some really nice jazzy ones to some interesting chamber stuff. If you’re unfamiliar with this show, I would suggest listen to the samples because they are very good in our view.

Why are you operating two different usernames, Ford, with two different responses to the same question?
