90% of the world isn't interested in film scores, let alone a 5CD set of horror film scores. Let's not pretend no overseas shipping is what is holding back any kind of gangbusters sales of this. And, for all we know, individual purchases (excluding online retailers like SAE, for example) of average titles are probably mostly made within the U.S. (exempting titles here and there, no doubt).

Dark Delicacies is a mom and pop store. They get by. They do a lot of book signings and sending those overseas is expensive and when one gets lost or what not they have to eat the cost, refund the buyer and are out money. They make very little per book, CD, blu-ray sold so when one goes missing or worse, that dives deep into any profits they may get. It's unfortunate, but it's the way it is and with the vax tax and what not going on, so darn expensive for everyone.
