I thought we had a composer real estate thread around here somewhere but alas, I cannot find it. I can find, however, a new sale listing for Jeff Beal's elegant and beautiful home, which can be yours for a cool 4 million.

Bah....

Gimme Brian Tyler's glass house anyday! (That was part a of the thread you referenced).

Thanks Mike for the story!

Nice find!

Here's this other thread which you might've been thinking of (broadens out a bit beyond Silvestri):

"Buy Alan Silvestri's house!"

.....and thanks to YOU TrekFan for finding that chestnut!
Certainly a fascinating and seldom seen piece of the film composer's personal life...

Pretty lavish, but not at Silvestri's crazy level, of course. 4 million dollars is actually the price of some houses in my neighbourhood (I live in one of Oslo and Norway's most expensive neighbourhoods, although my own 1-room rental doesn't reflect that), so not that bad compared to the usual Hollywood obscenity you usually see.

I prefer Rozsa's house myself...

NICE. Dammit, yes, I couldn't remember that Silvestri thread specifically.

Don't forget Alfred Newman's home, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright's son, Lloyd Wright.

^^ Got kind of a "Mad Men" vibe going on there!

Jerry Goldsmith's house (from the late 80s onward)...

Shuki Levy's home now up for sale. Even though my kids aren't little anymore, they'd still love that treehouse.
