Bear McCreary Scoring Kevin Smith’s ‘The 4:30 Movie’
Composer Bear McCreary (Godzilla: King of the Monsters, 10 Cloverfield Lane, Battlestar Galactica, The Walking Dead, God of War) is reuniting with director Kevin Smith (Clerks, Mallrats) on the upcoming coming-of-age comedy The 4:30 Movie. The film is written and directed by Smith and stars Austin Zajur, Nicholas Cirillo, Reed Northrup, Siena Agudong and Ken Jeong. The movie is set in the summer of 1986 and follows three 16-year-old friends who spend their Saturdays sneaking into movies at the local multiplex. Liz Destro (Lizzie, The Little Hours), Josh Bachove and Jordan Monsanto (Yoga Hosers, Jay & Silent Bob Reboot) are producing the project. McCreary has previously collaborated with Smith on the Netflix animated series Masters of the Universe: Revelation & Revolution. The 4:30 Movie is set to be released in the form of a multi-city national tour in the coming months by Saban Films before opening in theaters nationwide later this year.

Cool. Great 80s vibe going on there. I'd place Bear McC at the VERY TOP of the new generation hitting things out the park now. Nice contrast to his NEXT LEVEL work on RINGS OF POWER.
