Dinosaur! Finally!

Well surely this means Atlantis is next. I hope the custom JNH trailer music is included with both.

Truly excellent news! This was the very first movie I ever watched in the theatre when I was 11 and I absolutely adore the score! One of the very first ones that turned me into a film score fan and a JNH fan. Back in the day I searched so hard for the OST CD in music stores here in India, but was unsuccessful until my aunt got it for me from the US.

Just a few weeks back, I revisited the movie and score and was thinking how awesome it would be if the score received an official complete release. It will be amazing to finally have all those great unreleased cues like Playing Monster, Aladar Meets The Herd, Enough For Everyone, and most importantly the End Credits officially on CD.

Ha. I can totally relate to this situation. But thankfully the internet was alive back then and I could muster online orders. But most of my stuff when to my aunt also and even today and when I want to save on shipping.

Well, the whole film, including end titles, is only 82 minutes. So in all honesty it's not that strange to wonder whether or not the complete score would fit on one CD.

Mostly just hoping it's not 'full score plus redundant 51 minute album'.

Well, if the 51 minute album (which I have and is quite good) contains edits or assemblies not in the full score presentation, it may still be a good idea to include it. (I don't know if that's the case though.)

I could be mistaken, but I believe there may be some slightly different takes/mixes. I seem to remember Across The Desert being different. But it has been a few years since I've heard it.

How would we do that?

What, you expect every person posting to know the run time of every score? Oh yes, let me just read your mind so I know how long it actually is.

*ohm. ohm. ohm.*

You just made my point. Why hope for a specific configuration when you don't know the run time? I would think for those that like this score they'd just be excited to get the whole thing, regardless of how it has to be configured. We can appreciate without overcomplicating.

Wow!! I’m very excited about both of these releases. Congrats to Intrada for finally getting Edge of Sanity to the finish line! Talgorn is always top shelf.

Looking forward to adding these two to my pot and hitting SEND tomorrow (although I will have to wait for some BSX-ers to come in to have them on their way).

They’re up! I’ve just started individual threads for both releases (Dinosaur being a 2-disc release including the OST).

Honestly don't know how you pros have the patience for message boards like these. In a world of niche niches, you'd think they'd be grateful for anything...!
