We have tickets to see the 2024 US tour of Les Mis and I'm wondering if anyone has seen this performance. I have heard good things about but am just curious. We are certainly late to the party but we now have a blossoming Broadway fan in the family and this was her B Day gift.
Is it a theatre tour or the same arena tour playing in Europe at the moment you are going to see? I saw the arena tour in Belfast a few weeks ago, with Michael Ball as Javert and Killian Donnelly as Valjean. It was pretty impressive, well performed and sounded great though it's essentially a concert performance.
I prefer to see the show in a theatre. I saw it in Edinburgh in the early 90s on it's first tour and about 20 years ago in the Palace Theatre in the West End before it was scaled back and moved to the Sondheim, which I haven't seen. From what I've read, most of the touring productions now follow that show at the Sondheim.

The US tour is a full theater production. The venue is wonderful and we've see other full productions there in the past. My daughter is going to be in London within the next two months and I guarantee if she wasn't going to see the US tour, she would definitely be trying to see the European arena tour for sure. Thanks for the info Thomas.
Thanks EDW for wanting to hang with me. I was just going in to respond to you and name the other people I wanted to hang with. It's locked! Darn.
Okay, back to Les Miserables. I saw it on stage and the movie. Lovely music.
Oh you are so welcome joan. We both would name Bill I'm sure and so many others. I think you are everyone's favorite and rightfully so. Yes, the music is stunning and we can't wait. We were able to get excellent seats too.
