From the plaudits this is getting on the festival circuit, this is surely to be a player come awards time. For now we have the first official trailer:



Daniel Blumberg is the composer. I doubt Blumberg's CV will endear him to most of the folks here - Wikipedia lists his genres as "experimental, indie rock, and slowcore" - but we'll see what he can do on this type of canvas. The score has been singled out in some of the film's mainstream reviews.

I'm specifically curious if the music in the trailer, which I dig very much, is from the score.

Milan has released three tracks - each an overture - from the upcoming soundtrack:

I'm very excited to see this movie but attempting to be as blind as possible walking in for it. So please excuse me for not having much input right now.

The score is phenomenal. The piano tracks are genuinely amazing and so damn moving without even seeing the film.
