It's a shame this wonderful Lai score never got its own soundtrack release (AFAIK). It was only available as part of some Lai set. I absolutely adore those anthem-ian things like "The Weight of Memories", which sounds like a cross between Vangelis and Moroder. It was actually a horror film, an obscure one, which is described thusly: "Three sisters live in a mansion, secluded from the outside world for two decades. All religious, two were married but are widowed, one remains a virgin. The only person they have contact with is their old one-eyed maid, who is also a witch. Complications ensue when their dead brother’s widow visits." But there is very little horror about this music; it plays more to the tragedy of the story. Lai was really on FIRE in 1977, with this, BILITIS, ANIMA PERSA and MADAME CLAUDE II, among others.
