Yes, no need to apologize. We were just riffing on a silly error. Best of luck sorting out whatever problems you have in your life, Amer!

The Malone treatment without doubt it's gonna sound even more breathtaking.

I have the GDM edition and would be curious what the "Malone treatment" means. I mean I know a bit about restoration and mastering myself so would be a good to have a few information on what has changed exactly, as otherwise this is all a bit vague.

To be fair, Chris often posts on here, Slint, and he's a great lad, I'm sure if you ask him a direct specific question, he will probably reply.

Had the Screen Trax, then upgraded to the GDM CD Club and will gladly buy this Quartet release because this is top drawer Maestro output and I want to support the label in not letting up with the Morricone goodies. smile

Thank you, Quartet!! Top-notch.

This came this morning. I've just finished a once through. I won't waffle about the music, as most are familiar. But the sound is much improved, clear and I didn't notice any hiss. And I didnt notice any difference between the stereo and mono.

Great news, although not unexpected. Nice to have confirmed. Thanks D.

No probs. I think I enjoyed it more with the better sound. It's a very stoic ( if that's the right word) score which was hard to enjoy in rubbish sound. The snippet from the booklet made me laugh.
