I was compiling the spreadsheet based on the digital release and was pleasantly surprised to see the missing “Pearl” cue in the tracklist on the website. And now this… Seems like they simply forgot to put the track on the disc…?
On The Haunting it was right near the end - so at least only some of the list was wrong - but this?
They need to issue either a new disc or new packaging. And I don't mean cheap PDFs like they did for The Haunting and the Ems Street box set. It seems like the disc itself is wrong in this case so a re-press is warranted.
And they wonder why people prefer digital releases these days...
Do they actually understand the meaning of "Deluxe"?
Unsure. It seems like Varese (or whoever) decided to remove that single track but left it as part of the track list.
The hysterical thing is that their "customer service" (who "want to assist you as best as possible to find a resolution" - their words) are unwilling to help because I'm not in the US.
Everyone needs to blitz Varese with complaints. It's the only way this might (I stress "might", it's Varese after all) get fixed.
