Anything Rankin/Bass, especially The Hobbit and Return of the King!

"(Rankin/Bass) Television series and films pre-1974 are owned by NBCUniversal through DreamWorks Animation and post-September 1974 are owned by Warner Bros. Entertainment." i.e. no chance from this label for a while.

Ah, thanks for the info. That's too bad, but I won't give up hope!

Ford and team have been nailing it with their wonderful unique selections. David Michael Frank Vol 4 and Broughton's Desperate Voyage are my favorites of all music this year!

I hope some more Lee Holdridge is possible. French Postcards is a great unreleased score with that uplifting 70s orchestral sound Lee so excelled at.

Years ago I found a DVD for a TV movie from 1984 Broughton scored called Passions. This is a more intimate delicate score from Bruce. Gorgeous strings with a beautiful recurring theme.

I will buy anything else they release by Morton Stevens or Gerald Fried.

I would particularly like to add Harry Sukman and maybe SOME Walter Scharf.

More Lee Holdridge and Joel Goldsmith releases would be most welcomed smile

Oh, I'd have a few:

Lalo Schifrin - Class Of 1984
Tangerine Dream - Heartbreakers (from the isolated BD score, like their Miracle Mile release)
John Carpenter / Alan Howarth - Unreleased Cues (compiling overseen / unreleased / leftover pits and pieces from The Fog, Escape From New York, Halloween II, The Thing, Halloween III - untampered with versions, of course)

Best,
Burnie

The score of the tv series Flash Forward by Ramin Djawadi and Todd Habeman would be amazing. Reminds me of some 90s classic Media Ventures sound.

A little late, but I want to second SBD's first post.

Also: We've had multiple releases on CD and flash drives of scores from Don Peake for "Knight Rider", and two releases for Stu Phillips. So … can we finally get that one score Morton Stevens did for the show already?

Mort’s DEADLY MANEUVERS is my favorite from the series.

We will take that one under advisement.

Wow, Ford - that would be great!

Perhaps, with access to Universal TV, we might finally see a possible WHEELS release by Mort.

I know if Ford can do it, he will make it happen:-)

May I therefore come back with the following names?

Any good film or television music release by the following composers...

Lalo Schifrin, Billy Goldenberg, Dominic Frontiere, Gil Mellé, Dave Grusin, Oliver Nelson, Morton Stevens, Don Costa
Ernie Freeman, JJ Johnson, Robert Prince, Ken Wannberg, Lee Holdridge, Gerald Fried, Michael J Lewis, Patrick Williams
John Scott, David Witthaker, Laurie Johnson, Ron Grainer, Ken Thorne, Angela Morley, Arthur B. Rubinstein...

...is welcome and remains mostly missing !
