It's great that all this music is available. But these 3.5 hour playlists are such a chore to get through.
Whaaa...?! You're entitled to your opinion, of course, but I enjoy the full scores and am grateful that so far we've had THIRTEEN full scores EACH TIME (although on Batman Beyond Vol. 2 it was ten). The scale of these releases hardly seemed possible as recently as a couple of years ago, so the last thing I will do is complain.
Why do I feel like you guys wouldn't say stuff like this if we were talking about Batman: TAS or Superman: TAS, huh?
Tbh I can’t sit through any of LLL’s 4-disc DC releases as “an album” either - I think it would take a very special score that tells one sustained story to merit that. Then again, even most C&C scores for a single movie wear on me a bit. Episodic stuff, I have to listen to it in chunks. I’m very happy that those releases (and these newer digital releases) give me access to the music and the ability to listen in a way that works for me!
Now I wonder if DMP could do digital releases of ADVENTURES OF BATMAN AND ROBIN, further SUPERMAN TAS volumes, and THE NEW BATMAN ADVENTURES?? I’d still love to get comprehensive CD releases from La La Land someday if WB ever opens up for business again, but in the meantime, I’ll take whatever I can get from those shows via Michael, Christopher, and Lolita!
I think all of the DMP digital releases they’ve done so far have been synth-only. Maybe I’m wrong, but I’d assume that the key to them releasing these(and releasing them cheaply) in the WB drought is because there is no orchestra.

I'm definitely happy for these lengthy releases, whether digital or 4-CD sets, of full episode scores, but after exploring all the tracks for a little bit I always craft curated "highlights" collections that run around 75 minutes. I will usually create single track suites for each episode using Garage Band, in the same style as the old FSM "Man From UNCLE" CD presentations, whittling down a 15 minute episode score to around 7-8 minutes.

How do you do this with the streams? Or do you purchase digital downloads?

The latter, as I get the digital downloaded files so that I can pull them into Garage Band for editing...

There are live instruments in JLU and Teen Titans (in limited quantity): for example, there's an electric violin in the Teen Titans Vol. 2 score "Fear Itself".

I admire your dedication. That is way too much work for me. And I don't have time to explore all the tracks for a little bit. Which may explain why I'm with TJ on this (though I realize this is an endless debate here and I'm not expecting anybody to change their mind).

FWIW, I'm not complaining that all the music gets released. I just think it's a slog to get through really long playlists. It's great that everyone can listen to their favorite cue with minimal effort.

Yep, I totally admit that this is a "labor of love", so to speak, and not every fan has the time or energy for this extra effort! It's why sometimes I wish I could share the results of my custom suites, edits and albums with other fans who may want a more curated listening experience. The most I can do is post in the "Whittling" thread here!
