The Bruce Broughton CD was also an instant purchase for me. Two wonderful early but masterful scores! In your announcement, Ford, you mentioned, that Mr. Broughton will autograph the booklets. Does it stay that way? That would be wonderful!… Thank you!

I received an autographed DESPERATE VOYAGE by the composer, but I don't think I would have done had I ordered from another store. Is that right, Ford? I‘ve ordererd directly from BSX ;-) …

I'm not Ford, but as Graham suggests, the autographed copies are when you order direct from BSX (as long as you got in before they run/ran out). Thank you for your prompt responses! I‘ve asked because on the order site is no mention about autograph, only in the announcement here…

Hhmmm ... Sartoris said: "Awesome Gil Mellé and Bruce Broughton releases !" McHurdyGurdy says: "Holdridge...Safan...Immel...now Broughton...fantastic stuff." Notice a pattern? These guys don't compliment the 1950s/early '60s items. 1950s Marlin Skiles, Walter Greene, Paul Dunlap or Edwin Astley are not awesome/fantastic...they're nuttin' but chopped chicken livers, eh? Ford didn't even give 1 sound-clip from the 1950s for Graham Watt to ponder/puzzle upon.

They're certainly my favourite label of recent times, just for the 'left-field/complete surprise' aspect of their releases, together with chasing premiere titles of composers I'm generally a fan of (or at least curious about). Holdridge...Safan...Immel...now Broughton (just for instance)...fantastic stuff. Thank you for the kind words. Ford A. Thaxton

These two are prime examples of this. Ford A. Thaxton
