Apparently, Jack introduced an Adam Sandler song in the Saturday Night Live 50th anniversary special this weekend. If I'm not mistaken, that's his first public on-screen appearance (not counting Lakers games) since that whole funny Jennifer Lawrence interaction at the 2013 Oscar post-event. Robert de Niro sitting right behind him, making sort of a reunion of the previously mentioned THE LAST TYCOON. I mean, it's not much, but you take what you get when the guy has become such a recluse.

By the way, looking back at my previous Jack Nicholson threads a bit, it's funny that some never got any response at all, like Monte Hellman's FLIGHT TO FURY (1964), forcing me to talk to myself: https://www.filmscoremonthly.com/board/posts.cfm?threadID=81034&forumID=1&archive=0

Wow, something Thor and I finally agree about. wink
I love Jack Nicholson, he was an absolute joy to watch. Loved him especially in Chinatown, Shining, Terms of Endearment (great support casting), A Few Good Men, As Good as it Gets, Prizzi‘s Honor, oh so many more.

How many of you have seen his feature film debut CRY BABY KILLER (1958)? Has a swingin' Gerald Fried score. My old thread here:

Good to know, lostinscores!

Most people are fully aware of his second film, STUDS LONIGAN (1960), due to the Goldsmith (and Williams) connection. I did a thread on that here (it has several threads):

https://www.filmscoremonthly.com/board/posts.cfm?threadID=72220&forumID=1&archive=0

But what about this third, THE WILD RIDE (1960)? Wonky youth rebel film, and to this day -- 15 years after I created the following thread -- I still don't know who did the score. Anyone?
