Until the other evening I had never seen this 1949 Lassie entry. Enjoyed it very much. It's an old-fashioned family film with wonderful performances. And a helluva score by some newbie named Previn who was what, maybe five years older than the youngster played in the film by Claude Jarman, Jr.? Unreal.
