Never saw it or heard the cd. So it gonna be a treat. But the cue above is so Elmer Bernsteinesque western
inspired?


Amer, you are correct. I see the opening as a homage to Bernstein. However, the rest of the score is pure Poledouris. His long rifle theme is stunning.

I too would like to know is this CD has more music than the original.

This score has ragtime and music hall jazz influences.

If the whole album sounds as good as the preview video, I may bite.

I think Poledouris only ever did BIG movies. I like some of the scores, not all.

Then again, Poledouris albums can be worth it even if you're only into a few cues or sequences.
