I mean no disrespect to anyone but I did my maths and I have never heard about 36 out of these 60 composers.
I guess it's just showing how distant I am from the contemporary scene.
At any rate thanks for posting, very interesting list to read.

Personally, I'm glad Schumann's THE NIGHT OF THE HUNTER made the cut, but not glad about the absence of any score by Skinner or Salter. Or David Raksin, for Pete's sake!

These lists largely reveal why film
scoring
is so lackluster today.

Come on man. The choices aren't that bad.
Like most of them are legit great scores.
