In March from Mutant. Up for pre-order now.
So our collections can be completed, thanks to the sterling work of LLL and now Mutant.
They also said they are actively working on many potential CD editions of scores (including ALIEN ROMULUS by Benjamin Wallfisch).

I enjoyed the last episodes and I felt like they landed the series nicely wrapping up the characters and some fun nods to the original movie. The score had some highlights too that stood out too.

OK conclusion, but I think it should have ended earlier. I say that as a big KARATE KID fan. The original film has a huge place in my life (rented VHS, ca. 1985, before most of you were even born) and I loved the continuation of the story in this show, with most of the original characters.

Obviously, there was no room for a Swank cameo, the way the storyline had been laid out. Shame, but understandable.

The Kreese turnaround wasn't quite believable, IMO. Kove really only does one thing well -- the cool bad guy. He's not very good at doing sympathetic characters -- although he came a bit close in that hallway scene with Johnny. The CGI dream Miyagi just proves once again that we're not there yet in terms of the tech needed.

I understand that the next chapter of this saga is a film that combines the Jackie Chan version with the Ralph Macchio version. Should be interesting to see.

Indeed and here's a link for purchasing!

Great news that I'll be able to have all six seasons of music on my shelf! However, I feel compelled to point out that this physical CD release is missing three cues (from Part II of season 6, for the Sekai Taikai set in Barcelona) which are available on the download and streaming releases. Understandable, because that Part II soundtrack album was 1 hr 24 minutes and wouldn't easily fit on a single CD. They could have let some of the Part II music spill over onto the Part I CD of course, because that album is only 45 minutes(!), but I suppose they wanted to keep things cleanly one CD per part of the season, which I understand.

I just got spoiled by La-La Land Records CDs for the first five seasons of the series, where the physical CD editions actually included a lot MORE music than the digital albums... and now we've got a CD edition for the final season with no additional cues and actually three fewer cues than are available previously. frown That said, the price is certainly right at only $20 for a 3CD set... wow!

So yeah I'll be buying this nice-looking 3CD set for my collector completist OCD, but I miss La-La Land, whom I applaud for having a very different approach.

Great news! Ordered! Would have hated to not own the very final release!

A shame they couldnt just put those 3 missing cues on disc one... oh well!

I see that on their page they have the final track named "One Lesson Left" while on digital its called "One Last Lesson"...

Yeah I noticed that too… I wonder why. No biggie though!

I thoroughly enjoyed the last five episodes! Great finale, this is how you end a tv show!

Would have preferred to give LLL my money but pre-ordered.

Does anyone know wether releases by Mutant become available via other online stores?
Can't find anything in their payment methods that works for me. :/
