Greetings, everyone!

We have been shipping out our last 4 titles all week so many should have those in Hand shortly and we hope you enjoy them.

On March 12, Dragon’s Domain Recordings will be releasing three new titles, all centered around a science fiction theme that we believe will be of great interest to our customer base. Normally, we provide audio clips as hints, but this time, all three titles are so recognizable that we will skip that step.

Additionally, later this month, we will be introducing some new digital-only releases that should also pique your interest. More details on those will come soon.

What I can share is that one of the scores is from the late 1970s, another is from the late 1980s, and the final title will be a two-CD set reissue of two beloved recordings from the 1980s. We are thrilled to bring this back into print, newly remastered for improved sound quality.

Let the guessing games begin.

So, be sure to visit our site on March 12 around noon Pacific time to discover these exciting new releases!

Best Regards,

The Staff of BSX and Dragon’s Domain Recordings

We need picture clues like Varese put up, so we can bicker and argue and go to war with everyone in the room.

Starcrash - complete!

Sadly, no.

Both films, however, do you take place in outer space

YESSSS! Can't wait to see what you have in store.

BTW, do you know if Gold of the Amazon Women will be coming to Spotify, or is that only going to be available on Digital Download from you, as well as the CD?

Thanks!

Peter

Yes. My first thought for the late 70s title was Starship Invasions by Melle.

If that's the case, I brandish my credit card. Ford is single-handily preserving the Works of Mr. Melle for the ages. Take my money Ford, take it!

My hope was WITHOUT WARNING by Dan Wyman but it seem to be from 1980. D*mn big grin

So "Invasion" seem to be the connecting Sci-Fi theme ?

Re-Issue of 1988's THE BLOB ?

The 2 CD-Set is maybe a combo of THEY LIVE and PRINCE OF DARKNESS ?

From the original post cited above, I don't think it will be STARSHIP INVASIONS. Not this time around. But I do think it's a good candidate for the (hopefully) ongoing Mellé collections series. No main studio involved, zero budget, terrible film, great music...

Would a score like THE CRATER LAKE MONSTER (1977) to easy to recognize ?

That film was tracked with stock music. I believe I was once told that it all came from a stock music company called "Love" or something to that degree. Does anybody have any information on what tracks were used and their names, and/or can confirm what the stock music company was called?

I believe (the sadly late) John Morgan was originally set to score this film but didn't for budgetary reasons.

For what it's worth, IMDb has the score listed as uncredited to composer Will Zens. BMI lists him as well (and only him). Nothing on ASCAP.

WITHOUT WARNING by Dan Wyman?

It's not a bad idea at all given that, for all intensive purposes, it is essentially "Predator." It features future Academy Award winners as well as a very young David Caruso from NYPD Blue.
