I'm loving the new addition — the theme from Star Trek.

I fear that may cheapen the otherwise very classy package, somewhat, being that it's performed by, erm, Meridian Productions?!

I think it's a nice bonus and I like having the theme at the beginning. It sounds very good and is closer to the original than other re-recordings. Doesn't stick out from the rest of the program at all.

You can always delete it from your playlist if you don't like it.

The one element that always bothered me about those releases was missing, but I’m glad we were able to include it in this release.

I’m just happy that these are available again.

It really doesn't. I like it and is very much in the style of the symphonic suites, faithful to the season 2/3 opening title arrangement, with a very enthusiastic soprano performance.

I listened to the 24bit download and it really sounds fantastic. Great job on the mastering and overall presentation. Like visiting an old friend from decades ago who now looks all tanned and fabulous.

Thank James Nelson at Digital Outland for working his magic on these.

He's a Wizard, and someday I'll have to convince him to get into that costume and get a picture.

Had the cassettes, then bought the CDs. Glad these are available again, and I've already ordered.

Also nice to see the tracks are a little more... 'discrete' here, rather than the (up to) 21-minute continuous single-track suites found on the original CDs. It definitely got a little taxing to create MP3 titles for those!

While they could have been split manually, it wasn't always obvious where one segment ended and the next began for purposes of naming.
