You could probably add "....about spaghetti western scores" or something to the headline to attract more viewers. I know it has a big fan following in these here halls.
[Thanks. Yes it has interviews and composer profiles. Examines the music in gunfight scenes.the history of the genre and how the films and scores influnced many other movies and composers. startquote]Congrats!

This just came. I've had a quick flick through it. Seems like it'll be a nice read , not too heavy. Though I think it's a mistake where Micalizzi & Pregadio are credited as cocomposers on Trinity ( I've see this error repeated elsewhere. I believe it's Micalizzi alone - the film agrees. but apart from that......
Edit - Micalizzi Co- conducted for Pregadio on Il pistolero dell'Ave Maria .

Of course he could have been wrong, as many of the composers I interviewed had forgotten about a few of the scores they had written for the genre.

True- he could have helped out a friend but officially.... Also the two scores mentioned were released together , the layout appears to suggest the voth composed both scores and thus perpetuating the idea. I think.
CONGRATULATIONS! A lot of Facebook groups don't allow self-promotion, but I've found if you post something relevant to the subject and "sign off" with a link to your book, they usually leave such things up. Not that you might not already be doing that!
Any plans for a sister book on Peplum film music? I'm continuously amazed when people write about that genre and completely fail to mention the music, which in my mind is one of the most important ingredients in them, outside of the musclemen and busty women.
