Please, before judging me, take a moment to read my request and see the full context.
I am a woman from Iran. I simply asked for help identifying a piece of music related to a film, and unfortunately, some ignorant and disrespectful people started mocking and insulting me — just for asking a question.
I warned them several times to stop, to show some respect, but they continued. I believe in respect, especially when it comes to how women are treated. But when someone keeps crossing the line, I have every right to defend myself and respond.
So please understand: I wasn’t the one who started the disrespect. I reacted after being treated unfairly multiple times.
Respect should go both ways.
