Don't know if this YouTube channel have been mentioned here.
The most recent video is a rendition of Max Steiner's main title for The Informer (1935), his first Oscar-winning score.

Thanks for posting!

Brett was music director of the Colorado Symphony some years ago. The Classical music station I oversee would bring him into our performance studio, where he would speak with knowledge and enthusiasm about all kinds of music, what the symphony was playing, and he loved talking and playing through sections of Star Wars and other Williams music.

He is one of the great folks equally at home in lots of different kinds of music.

There is a thread out there; which asks us readers; for your all-time favourite short cue…
I have replied back in the past; but it is a lot more relevant here; as I never would have believed;
that I would ever hear a piano performance; of my all-time favourite short cue…

Here it is: — THE ALLEY TRANSFORMATION FROM SUPERMAN II

I applaud him doing the hard work it takes to get this down on paper.

More of a piano piece, to my mind.

Even better, though I would have enjoyed him doing it without the synchronization.
