If only that had been accessible to Doug Fake/Intrada 37 years ago! I love the LSO Rio Conchos but I would trade it in an INSTANT in exchange for a modern stereo recording of my #1 favorite Goldsmith feature score (presumably still paired with The Artist Who Did Not Want to Paint, my #1 favorite Goldsmith composition period)... even though the mono album we have sounds good and clean.
Maybe someday a new recording of Lonely Are the Brave will still happen. At the very least, maybe JoAnn Kane's holdings could be used to provide the missing cue titles for the unused cues Goldsmith wrote for the original longer cut of the film, should any film music label get around to reissuing the film recording.
