I'm gonna get this soon, but I have a question about this release. The description said that only selected parts of Vladimir Kraus-Rajteric's score is on the release. What was prevented from including his full score in the release considering there was about 30 minutes left of space on the cd? Were the tapes partially missing like Herrmann's?

In his earlier post, Ford indicated that the Kraus-Rajteric cues were taken from the Music & Effects track, so maybe they just chose cues that didn't have a lot of effects interfering with the music.
There is a possible source for the full Herrmann score--but it's buried deep in the vaults of a company that has no rights to the film or the music, so it will probably just gather dust until it rots.

Ah I didn’t see that, if that’s the case then the amount on the cd is probably all they can salvage from those tracks

It's also the best sounding version of the soundtrack by Herrmann.
Please correct me if I'm wrong: This release is less complete than the Tribute Film Classics release. But it does have the selection of Vladimir Kraus-Rajteric's score, which isn't on the Tribute Film Classics release.
I'm curious if anyone has had a chance to listen to our new music. I've taken some time to give it a spin and would love to hear your thoughts on it. I believe it sounds better than our previous releases.

My ordered copy is still on its way, currently blocked through the belgian custom as usual, but it sounds really great indeed since I already got the digital version you get straight when you buy the combo. So yes, it is a terrific release for sure.
Can't wait for tonight new Dragon's Domain titles annoucement. I say tonight because noon PST is 9PM in CET.
I hadn't listened to the original recording in a while, maybe since the Tribute recording came out. Picked this one up for the European score by Vladimir Kraus-Rajteric. The Tribute recording is terrific, but it's also great to have this original, which sounds wonderful! Great to get reacquainted with it! It's Herrmann at his over-the-top best.
The Kraus-Rajteric score (which totals about eleven minutes here) isn't as much to my taste, but it's very interesting to hear, and is well done and for an archival recording sounds just fine.
