Always cool to see this option come around again, I can't partake but for those that are, if you're willing to let us live vicariously through you, when you get yours can please tell us what you got?

By all means Ford, please do.

And if folks get doubles etc. I'd imagine there would be some FSMer's up for trading them.

I’ve participated in this three or four times (after having started with a massive score collection) and only gotten a very small handful of doubles- it really speaks to the breadth of BSX (and associated labels’) catalogs. Every box has overdelivered on what was promised, quantity-wise. Some have had DVDs, promo CDs, etc. as well. There’s really no deal like it for the price! A great way to discover new music, some more “off the beaten path” works from big names, and new (or new to you) composers.

I’ll probably buy one again someday for somebody to give me on a Fathers Day or Christmas - but right now I’m very out of room!

PS: have any brave souls gotten their boxes yet? And did they have any comments about what they received? I'm interested.

I just got mine and I am very impressed with the lack of duplication from the past since I have participated each time BSX has done this.

Here is what I got:

Savate - Kevin Kiner
Cinematic Noir - The David Michael Frank Collection Volume 2
The Return Of Swamp Thing - Chuck Cirino
Akira Ifukube / Nation Forest - Bukimisha
Silence Of The North - Allan Macmillan & Jerrold Immel
Inferno - Bill Conti
Assault On Precinct 13 / Dark Star - John Carpenter & Alan Howarth
Teenage Exorcist / Witch Academy - Chuck Cirino
The House Where Evil Dwells - Ken Thorne
Tintorera: Killer Shark / Dolphin - The Basil Poledouris Collection Volume 3
An Elephant Called Slowly - Howard Blake
Desperate Voyage - Bruce Broughton
Demon In the Bottle - John Morgan
Star Trek The Next Generation Volume 3 - Dennis McCarthy
Black Sunday / Baron Blood - Les Baxter
Golden Age Songs & Instrumentals - Erich Wolfgang Korngold & Max Steiner
The Wind - Stanley Myers & Hans Zimmer
Legendary Hollywood Volume 2 - Franz Waxman
Godzilla & Friends Vs. Ghidorah - Bukimisha
Music from the Films of Charles & Ray Eamers - Elmer Bernstein
The Private Navy of Sgt. O "Farrell" - Harry Sukman
One Show Makes It Murder & Killjoy - The Brice Broughton Collection Volume 1
Fatal Attraction - Maurice Jarre
Fantastic Television!! - Various
Iron Monkey - James L. Venable
The 4th Floor - Brian Tyler
Tales From The Darkside The Movie - Various
The Colors Of Brazil / African Blue - Les Baxter
Pranks - Christopher Young
The Bionic Woman Volume 5 - Joe Harnell

The variety is so freaking good, and I can't wait to check into almost all of these. Only had 2 or 3 duplicates even with all my prior times of buying a box each time which is fantastic. I am really excited I got The Bionic Woman disc since I have the 4 prior volumes.

Thank you, Ford!

I highly recommend anyone who can afford to buy these do it. It is well for the price and a lot of fun hearing a variety of soundtracks I have never heard before and would not have blind bought on my own individually.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention I got my umpteenth DVD copy of The Passion Oratorio in the box. I guess nobody wants these. LOL

Well, I hope you enjoy this particular box, it seems like we did give you a lovely cross-section of a number of titles and composers.

And Wells Fargo coming on their box that they received we'd like to hear what you have to say

I've never purchased one of these before so am likely to do so in the next day or so.

The opening graphic (and same at the website) reads at one point in an earlier paragraph "You'll receive a selection of 30 CDs", but then the bottom of the blurb reads "At only $39.99 (plus shipping) for 25 CDs" so I was puzzled by the mismatch between 25 and 30? Anyway, looks like Spiderbite got 30. smile

There are some substances that our fine postal workers should just not have to handle, so if that was after it was already received... that's better, I suppose. eek
