Copy arrived today and I've had a bit of a wallow in certain titles this afternoon and evening. A few observations, one in particular about the lack of orchestrator credits - I believe Nathan Van Cleave orchestrated THE TIN STAR, for instance. On BLUE (my raison d'etre for getting this set) Leo Arnaud is mentioned in the notes, but nowhere else. (According to the imdb, Shuken and Hayes also assisted with the orchestrations). No mention either of a credit for the guitar work of Laurindo Almeida. (Even on the old Dot Record re-recording, he got his name on the back cover). I was a bit disappointed also that the vocal of RUN FOR COVER wasn't included in the "Paramount Corral" . (Can still recite the lyrics years after an old TV viewing.) Plus, the omission of Tennessee Ernie Ford's voice on the main title for THE LONELY MAN. Just wondering why. Hope this doesn't come over as too much grump! In all honesty I'm extremely happy to have a lot of this music after years and years of imagining it would never happen. Great! Thank you, La La Land.

Come away, guys! I can't be the only one to have received this up to now! Let's have your thoughts and opinions. Mine came this morning. I've just put it on. I've started with the 'corral' section, as I am least familiar with those therein. So far I'm.enjoying it ( decent sound too) So much so I've got some heavy chaps on my legs.

I just got my copy from Intrada recently (I usually try to order direct from the labels but this was a rare exception...and it did save me a couple dollars in shipping!) Haven't had a chance to crack it open yet alas, but I'll chime in with my thoughts when I do. Yavar

Mine arrived from La La Land Records this morning just in time for second breakfast. I have only listened to Disc One so far and its fabulous! I well remember when my mother took me to see Union Pacific at the cinema, how that opening music and especially the rescue train sequence grabbed me. It brought back great memories. Terrific! Well done La La Land!
