Mr Lelouch must feel very lonely tonight, his major friends/collaborators are now gone.
A huge loss also today is the death of Novelist/Journalist/songwriter/film director Philippe Labro.
A major voice of the french culture of the last 60 years.
He worked with Michel Colombier on L'heritier, L'Alpageur and Le Hasard et la Violence, Reinhardt Wagner on La Crime, and Ennio Morricone on Sans Mobile Apparent. RIP

From Claude Lelouch's Facebook page:
Nicole. Her voice, so unique, has been the breath of my movies, the music of my emotions. Together we created a forever moments His unique stamp brought the images to life, turning each sequence into a moment of grace. I remember those recording sessions where, on her breath, she would whisper words that echoed like confidences. She had this rare gift of conveying intimacy, of touching the soul. With Francis Lai and Pierre Barouh, she made "A Man and a Woman" a universal melody, an anthem that will transcend time. Her presence, her sensitivity, her immense talent have made a profound mark on my life. Nicole was a muse, a friend, an accomplice. Today I've lost much more than one voice. She has been the voice of my life.
Where Did Our Summers Go? by Francis Lai & Don Black for La Leçon Particulière.
A great favourite of mine ever since I saw the film in the cinema all those years ago, and also un homme et une femme even earlier of course. I am always hoping that a Bluray will be released someday. Farewell Nicole.
