Failed NBC series from 1983 that tried, but failed, to create a more western-like "Dallas" series, set in Texas. I'm not really sure why it failed, it's pretty much as any good as "Dallas". Maybe if there had been some crossover episodes, it would have helped.
The cast includes Ken Curtis and David Soul.
The theme song is the classic old song "The Yellow Rose of Texas", specifically a nw recording that became popular and climbed onto the music charts. Sung by Johnny Lee and Lane Brody. No one is credited for the music. Episodes outside the first one, credit the theme for Immel, but I assume that is the end credits instrumental arrangement and not the music for the song.

Considering this had Cybill Shepherd and David Soul, I'm surprised neither one of them sang it!
