I received my copy today. Many thanks to Ford and the team for making this score available again and in improved audio.

We worked very hard at not only the sound, but also of the overall package. It's the best-sounding and looking version. I've seen and heard to date.

But again, my opinion is highly biased.

This is a totally "new" release for me; I have been scooping up Herrmann's later works and decided this one would be a worthy purchase. The sound quality on here is fantastic to my ears. Thank you for making this gem available again.

BTW, as I cleared my old Label X CD out of my shelf to make room for the new one, I gave it one last spin (just in parts). The new Dragon's Domain release sounds much better!

So there's that, too.

We are glad everyone is enjoying it.

What is/was "Sessions of London" exactly? Is it The London Philharmonic? And if so, why isn't it credited as such?

I've been listening to this a lot recently. I still don't really like the harmonica on it, and I wonder why Tommy Reilly was brought in when even I could have done what Reilly was asked to do. Even my grandmother's dog could play the harmonica like that.

But no way does that spoil the score. It's a magical release. Love it.

Graham, I don't think that's directly addressed in the original notes but we carried over the album credits. If you Google 'Bernard Herrmann Sessions Of London', you can find some additional information. Sounds like it was basically another name for the London Studio Orchestra.
