You can see an animated version of the cover art on Apple's website:
Looks like it's just the first 27 tracks of the first disc of Intrada's album.
This is what usually happens when studios gets the digital rights to albums Intrada releases. They seem to get the main album with all the additional tracks. But they don’t seem to get the bonus tracks etc. I believe Backlot is Universal. I do not work with nor do I have any direct connection to Intrada or Backlot and I’m only speculating based on what I’ve observed.
The Apple link in the main post has a preview of "First Victim" available to play, because that is being released as a single on Friday. So you can already buy that track in countries where it is already Friday
I have never liked the mix on the latest Intrada edition. It is too heavy on the bass sound while sometimes muffling the high end frequencies. While the original sound quality is a little tinny sounding, I like the remastered original album of disc 2. The version that I listen to subs tracks in from disc 2 where I don't like the mix. I also love the original album so much that I sub in versions of tracks from the original album where Williams changed/lengthened them.
Awesome. I presume that such a celebratory gesture for such an important anniversary of such a legendary soundtrack will result in even the most cursory gesture of a physical release, yes?
This press release from March revealed that Mondo is releasing it on 2xLP vinyl:
In collaboration with Back Lot Music and Universal Pictures, Mondo will release a definitive and newly remastered presentation of the legendary score by John Williams on 2xLP vinyl.

Come again? Heavy on the base? Or the bass? Or what? Me thinks Intrada did a pretty good job there.
What I meant was that the bass level was too far forward in the mix blocking out and therefore seeming to sometimes muffle the high end frequencies. Some places on the original album tracks you can hear the violin and harp better than on the Intrada release.

Album was a re-recording
The album was an outstanding recording that allowed Williams to develop several cues, resulting in a wonderful piece that stands on its own.
If someone could locate the multi-tracks from this particular album and create a 50th-anniversary remix, I would wholeheartedly endorse it.
