From all the themes in the TV and Movie series… My all-time favourite theme – Spock’s Theme – from – “Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan”.
The best rendition of it – is found in – Epilogue – prior to the actual - End Title… I also love the way how James Horner had sequenced it so that Alexander Courage’s opening – (from the TV series) – comes right after that section of music which I am describing here…
I am also very fond of Jerry Goldsmith’s Love Theme from: “Star Trek: The Motion Picture”. Ilia's Theme.
Favorite single theme: TMP. Never forget the first time it blasted forth in the theatre in 1979. Plus, unlike many other Trek themes, it has such versatility. It's been used in many ways to convey different states- triumph, wonder, relief, even action, and still conveys that sense of nobility and Federation-ness.
Goldsmith, Horner and Courage's iconic piece all serve Trek so well it's difficult to pick a favourite between : TOS Theme TMP Opening, Klingon sequence, and Illya's Theme WoK Main Title and Voyager.
Of course then the rest of those above movie scores contain such great cues on top of all that. Picking one? C'mon!
Speaking of Enterprise I wished they had kept McCarthy's original Main Title music in. Instead of using the annoying "Faith Of The Heart" song. I dunno who's dumb bright idea that was.
Rick Berman took credit for that brilliant choice.

I think, that the Voyager intro is visually and musically one of the best opening in television history and definetely one of my favorite ST themes. But the style of scoring changed so much between 1964 and 2016, that I can't pick a single theme from an 50 year span with music composed by over 25 composers.
