Well done again on your latest discoveries. Was there a series for CBS titled Escape? If so are there episode scores by JG?

Amazing material. Thank you for posting this. It's interesting to hear not only Goldsmith's roots, but in the case of "1489 Words," to hear "William Conrad" of Cannon and Jake & the Fatman fame is priceless. A lot of people had written off radio by this time, as television was becoming the new cause celebre'. This was a treat to listen to and I'll have to keep my eyes out for more of this. I'm a little too young for this era, but I find myself yearning for the simplicity of my youth. These serve as a reminder that imagination can go a long way without CGI effects and Dolby Surround sound. Thanks. MaxB

Wow. If someone finds that "Symphonies for Youth" show, Jerry would have been 17 years old on that one. Thanks again for all the info. Would love to hear those Hall of Fame shows. The radiography I posted above says he was 16 (since his birthday is in February, I think. My usual sources (vendor and free) don't have any of JG's HALL OF FAME episodes available, although all are known to be in some recorded form, if only in private collections. Here you go: Thanks to davidinberkeley. I've been able to find about half of his reported radio work, but never these. Thanks for posting the additional shows on Mediafire. I wasn't wild about the ROMANCE series generally, but thought I'd save these JG episodes. Now I can add a few more to the folder.

Did JG score any of the old GUNSMOKE "CBS Radio" shows? Some of these shows were included as a "bonus" on the GUNSMOKE: THE DIRECTORS COLLECTION DVD set.:-) Lorien's list above is as complete as I've heard of. Perhaps you're thinking of the TV series, because I think he did do some of those.
