I think it is terrific that GDI has restarted their Hammer soundtracks with Captain Kronos. One of my favorite James Bernard scores is from Dracula Has Risen From the Grave (what a mouthful). It would seem that the tracks are no longer available as GDI would have released them a few years back before Taste the Blood and Scars of Dracula. The late David Wishart stated to me that he thought the tracks were gone. With so many lost Hammer scores, is it possible to release some of these gems from the music and effects tracks? I know this has been touched on before . . . but if the tracks aren't available and no re-recordings are in sight, would't that be the way to go(archival purposes). Silva Screen hasn't re-recorded any Hammer music in years. They did re-record the finale from DHRFTG almost . . .my gosh is it 20 years ago? Just a thought.
