A note of irony. We are not allowed to mention or discuss boots. But the only legit release of John William's IMAGES is only possible because someone made one of those. Very much like the film industry prosecuting collectors of film prints and then finding these "criminals" were the only source of restoration. No complaints, just irony.
IMAGES originally came out as a "for your consideration" LP in "73-'74. Only later was this booted into a more widely available (relatively speaking) LP around the mid 70's. The Academy promo had only the film's title on the front and the track titles on the back.
The original album was an exceptionally clean pressing and would yield up excellent results.
