I always enjoyed this one! - ***FLASHING LIGHT WARNING!!!***

Not long ago, Zoob-man, I found this LP, suuuuuuper-cheap.

Arlen and Gershwin are mention NOT ONCE on the sleeve, cover or label. Interesting.

You know, Filmy, I think that Amityville Frenzy manages to transcend disco since it has such an awesome arrangement.

This cover is so awesome it's worth reminding you it's here.

Has anyone mentioned the time the CE3K disco version was turned into an orchestral arrangement?

Thank you! I thought I was th only person on the planet who was aware of this one. I adore it.

This great cue from John Barry's score for King Kong (1976) starts as disco and then segues into dramatic score.

I like Elmer Bernstein's Saturn 3. As released, the opening is really more of an overture at 9:22 in length.
I think he did a great job with the disco sound (~1:10).
The score is a favorite of mine and sounds similar to Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica and some snippets resemble his own The Magnificent Seven.

The Biddu Orchestra also did a disco version of "I Could Have Danced All Night".

There was also a disco version of Jerry Goldsmith's main theme from "Star Trek The Motion Picture" and he absolutely HATED it!

You're one up on me, as I have only the Williams 5-incher.
