I remember in the early days there were some oddball posters here, like Latham Conger III and Daniel2... and I do remember that the annoying thing about Daniel2 were not his opinions (I think everybody's entitled to enjoy the music as they see fit), nor his insistence on long-winded posts (write your heart out, no one is forced to read it), nor his weird obsession with all things Jerry Goldsmith. The annoying thing about Daniel2 was that he opened up thread after thread after thread with basically the same subject matter, spreading out conversations and rambling on in thread after thread after thread (after thread... and so on) about the same subject.
Though it still strikes me as odd that Daniel2's secret identity was H Rocco. Has that really been confirmed? Whoa.

(I corrected it!)

Yeah--thought I was being gaslighted!

There was never a confession or anything like that. Let's just say there were some rather convincing circumstantial-type arguments.

It has been brought to my attention that JoeinAr has passed away. While he has been a member here since 2001, and posted occasionally over the years, he has primarily been very active on JWFAN, which is where the news of his passing broke yesterday.

Thor, is this intended to be some sort of comprehensive thread?

There must be people missing.

Off the top of my head - one glaring omission is Nick Redman, who used the username of Hellstrom on these FSM boards.

It was intended to be a comprehensive overview of the regulars, yes, but I'm sure there are people who fell through the cracks over the years, especially if they didn't post much. Was Nick a regular here?

Nick Redman was a great guy and a legend in film music circles.
I forgot he posted so much here, but I remember him from many wonderful exchanges over the years, especially on rec.music.movies, IIRC.

I know who Nick was, of course, but I didn't know he posted so much. When did he pass away again? Are there any obits? I'd like to add him to the list.
