But seriously, I would direct fans of Altered States to Corgiliano's Clarinet Concerto (which got him the job of scoring Altered States). If you like Revolution, you will probably like "Elegy for Orchestra" and "Voyage for Flute and String Orchestra". The trailers have someone else's music, but here is where you can watch the shows online: https://www.pbs.org/wnet/nature/preview-alps-high-life/23570/ Episode 1 sounds Williamsy. Episode 2 was mostly Shorean, then tailed off sounding Varry Barry.
