Fake time lapse. Usually during a scary action scene, where everything goes dark and silent in the middle of the action. Then the shot fades back in, its hours later and we're to guess how or why the threat went away.

Characters having an argument in an a car and saying "let me out here" suddenly. Regardless of where they are.

You'd think at least one wouldthen go, "actually not here, there's no way home from here and I'm not entirely are where I am. maybe just down the road a bit ".


Exactly. I would never want to get out of a car where there were no other options to make it home.


If you're hitchhiking and the driver asks you for a blowjob, it makes perfect sense. Unless you're up for that. wink

The Slo Mo Stroll of (usually) the Good Guys into the scene, typically striding side-by-side, with the appropriate overhyped theme/rock song. Lets you know the Cavalry has arrived and the stuff's gonna hit the fan.

Heh, I watched Poetic Justice tonight, and whaddaya know, another "argument causes someone to demand to be let out of a car in the middle of nowhere" scene. big grin
