Regarding Krull, we did it for 5 reasons:

1. It was OOP
2. Sony said "Hell Yeah!"
3. The Supertracks one was $40... this version will be $19.98
4. Jeff Bond's new Liner Notes
5. To replace that damn ugly 2 disc clamshell box. UGH! I hated those things for 2 disc sets!

As for the sound, it sounds better, but not it's a great leap in technology. If you have the other version and you have the extra dollars then pick this one up. If you don't have the other one, then buy this Horner masterpiece asap! It's one of his greatest scores EVER!

We were treated to Star Trek III & Trek ('09) this year. Which is more than enough I believe. I am happy with these releases. And very surprised with Krull.

Batman looks great!!!! Congrats to Neil S. Bulk on the producing credit!

I'll be buying all 3 titles, and will no longer have a need for my clamshell version of Krull!

Does anyone know why the track "Vella" appeared in between "The Widow's Lullaby" and "Ynyr's Death" on the Super Tracks release, but between "Leaving The Swamp" and "The Widow's Web" on this release?

I like the moving of the love theme to the bonus track section; On the supertracks release, it closed disc 1 (after "The Changeling", with "Leaving The Swamp" opening disc 2)

This version is in film order. I think the other one took some slight liberties with its order in order to present an "album" version presentation.
