Just on the Philip Glass topic:

Documentaries:
Four American Composers: Philip Glass (Peter Greenway)
The Changing Image of Opera (1984, about Einstein on the Beach)
A Composer’s Notes (about the composing of Akhanten)
Looking Glass (the aforementioned doc)
GLASS: A Portrait of Philip in Twelve Parts

Various BBC docs on minimalism including one called “Sounds Like Philip Glass”

Not his film music, but there are also DVDs and Blu-ray’s of things like Einstein, his opera about the death of Walt Disney called The Perfect American, Kepler, The Lost...etc

Thank you very much for more information on Philip Glass' documentaries.

I have already put these three documentaries in the list many years ago:

Four American Composers: Philip Glass (VHS 1991, 60 min.)
Glass: A Portrait of Philip in Twelve Parts (2DVD 2009, 119 min.)
Philip Glass: Looking Glass (DVD 2005, 103 min.)

Can you provide more information about these remaining ones?

Changing Image of Opera (1984, about Einstein on the Beach)

A have found some unofficial DVD release only. Is it what you mean?

I'm looking for official releases only.

BBC docs on minimalism including one called “Sounds Like Philip Glass”

Unfortunately I can't find any information about any VHS, DVD or Blu-Ray containing these BBC documentaries.

I don't see this on your list, but today I stumbled across a dvd documentary featuring Terence Blanchard.

It's called "Terence Blanchard presents - Flow: Living In The Stream of Music". It features about 15 minutes of Blanchard and Spike Lee in the recording studio as they lead a sax player through several takes for a solo sax cue for the film "Inside Man".

This is fascinating to watch. We get to see how Spike Lee conveys what sound he wants for the score, and Blanchard conducts a studio orchestra. To be sure, this is more documentary style than a complete performance of the Inside Man theme. The video is 1.33, and looks like it was shot on videotape. Not the greatest. The rest of the 90 minute doc is of Blanchard touring and mentoring young musicians. I haven't seen the whole thing yet, so can't comment on the rest. It was filmed over a one year period, probably through 2005, and released in 2006.
