I would LOVE to have some of the tracks that never get completed - any alternative cues Danny played around with for certain movies that never went the distance in the end. It's maddening to think of so much music ending up on the cutting room floor, though of course that's the process that needs to happen.

For example, any chance of an alternative fudderwacken or two? It sounds like Danny composed a LOT of those, and some of the ethnic ones sound like they'd be well worth a listen.

can't wait for this box - i'm very excited. Just, yeah, please do make sure there's plenty of extended material in the scores - we can't really afford to fork out for scores we already own razz

How about all of the circus cues from "Big Fish?"

Alfred Hitchcock Presents - The Jar
- the whole damn thing, really

Yeah, I mentioned THE JAR earlier. It deserves a few more cues released than the brief suite on the MFADT compilation.

Ooh! I'm not sure if these things even EXIST...but were there ever demos for songs like Twice The Love from Big Fish or Face to Face? I'd be more surprised if there was one for face to face, as it was a collaboration with Siouxsie and the Banshees. But if there ARE any demos, that would be pure gold. The unearthing of all those nightmare demos was brilliant. Are there any from corpse bride?

If there are any kicking around from anything, you HAVE to include them

just for you to know, the additinal cues will be on SEPERATE DISC/DISCS. i'm sure of that.
it's common sense, as they will not be able to add for each disc additional cues in
just 4 months and remasteres it and do the artwork. it's not possible.
so don't get your high hopes.
it will proably include all the pre WB OST releases (batman, etc) and 1 or 2 disc of
additional cues.

Can you include "Erased," the unused song from Corpse Bride?

Sorry if someone's already mentioned this, I'm at work and don't have time to read all the posts, but in an interview Elfman speculated that he probably has a whole album's worth of alternative Fudderwackens from Alice in Wonderland. Obviously I don't expect a whole disc of just this, but a few of them or maybe a really long suite of them on one of the bonus CDs would be nice.

Yeah, someone mentioned that six posts up (and earlier in the thread too). Would be fun to hear.

No.

I hope you know what you're talking about Ryan, I'd be very disappointed if the new material amounted to a random selection of cues on bonus discs.

I just watched the original Fantasia by Disney. Wouldn't it be cool if Danny Elfman and Tim Burton created a Halloween version of this. Call it "Frightasia" or something. With all of the scores that Danny has written, this would be awesome!
