Yet they still haven't discovered the difference between less and fewer.

Trader Joe's is practically the only business I know that properly uses "fewer" instead of "less."

Less than 100 in this pressing.

They did say there would be another one, right?

Well, I finally pulled the trigger and ordered one a few days ago. Makes me wonder ... what about the FUTURE films that Elfman and Burton do together. Will they do another "anniversary" edition?

Danny Elfman is one composer whom I would like to see live in concert, but I understand that he doesn't conduct. So I guess that's just a pipe dream.

Oh boy... I hope Amazon will honor the contract.

In these "new" video (posted in Facebook at November 15th), at the end you can read clearly Numbered First-run so theoretically there is a second run:

In any case I canceled my order with Amazon.com and I am going to go safe with WB.

Cheers

Don't know what is more annoying: the price of this superb set or the fact we don't know if is just limited to 1000 copies

I just pulled the trigger on this one as well. I was hemming and hawing, but the fact is I can afford it (if only just), Elfman is my favorite composer, and the information about there being a second, cheaper run seems to be speculation and/or wishful thinking.

I'd rather pay $500 for a guaranteed box now, especially if this becomes a "Predator" situation with the price inflated by the secondary market. Thinking of passing on this, only to find out that there will be no second pressing and used copies command $1000 or more...I just couldn't take it.

I can see them releasing a version without all the bells and whistles, no box no jump drive etc. etc. for a little bit less. Who knows, I'm glad I pre-ordered it so I won't have to mess with any of that worrying stuff.

BTW, who's got this ordered...what will be the first disc you will play when it arrives?

Me, I'm leaning toward Pee Wee's Big Adventure and then maybe just going in order, who knows though!

I think I'll go through them in order (book/liner notes in hand!) If I wasn't in utter OCD/nerd mode - I would jump directly to Batman, Big Fish, Orchestra only versions. (Then everything in order!)

I would like this set, but I'm not nearly a big enough early Elfman fan to spring for it, considering how much of the material I already own. If a cheaper edition is made available, I'll be happy; if not, I won't be devastated. I hope all of you who ordered enjoy it.

The Lalaland soundtrack didn't include it the film version.

Less than 100 in this pressing.

I like very much this video. It makes the point of owning this (luxurious) object quite ironic.
