Good movie (great regarding it's director) and brilliant score.
Nick Redman mentions that Fielding payed hommages to Bartoks and Lutoslawskis CONCERTO FOR ORCHESTRA in that score.
Has anybody compared the works and can say something about it? smile

I've never noticed it. I'm going to listen to the compositions you mentioned asap.

Last week I heard a Prokofiev piano concerto on the radio and was dismayed to find out that in the track A Russian Wags His Tail (from SCORPIO) naughty Jerry literally CUT & PASTED the piano solo from the above concert.

Thanks for letting me know the Prokofiev-thing! Do you remember which Concerto it was?

I'm trying to recreate the Four Film Suites LP, unfortunately some tracks from Chato's Land was left off the Film Music Vol 1 Bay Cities CD to make way for the Nightcomers - the missing tracks were as follows -

1. The Indian Convention (3:48)
2. Guerilla Maneuvers (4:04)
3. Wild Horse Roundup/ Moment of Mourning (2:14)
4. Attack In The Gorge (2:40)

Presumably the missing tracks were featured in Film Music Vol 4 Bay Cities (Chato's Land/Mr. Horn) where Chato was presented as 2 suites totaling 20 mins each, I need help in identyfying where these cues are within the suites.

Even more confusingly, the Intrada CD's have different timings for the tracks named as Indian Convention (1:35) and
Attack In Gorge (1:53).

Finally, the Entr'acte (2:02) cue from Straw Dogs was also removed form the Bay Cites CD, maybe this was renamed for the Intrada CD? In terms of timings this is an exact match for "Trencher's Farm".
