Listening to this now. Inspiring stuff, especially during these times. Utterly compelling and beautiful. That opening 3 minutes of the 3rd movement by John Debney is stunning. And when Bruce Broughton takes up the reigns in the 5th, my lord, tears of joy.
It's all very "film music-y", but that's part of the attraction for me. For all the different composers, it all comes together organically. Excellent album that seems to be mostly forgotten these days, except when I, Kev or others bump it with regular intervals.
Well, it's been a while since I last spun it, possibly the longest gap I've given it since I bought it. But I will remedy that soon enough. Great music never goes out of fashion. Thanks Thor.
