While CONSTELLATION is running, I checked out the German Netflix series THE SIGNAL, which is VERY close to CONSTELLATION in premise. Except for a different mystery at the centre, and - I have to say - an extremely unsatisfying resolution.

I've added the Netflix series 3 BODY PROBLEM to the list, but I'm really, really struggling to get into it. The first episode is so excruciatingly boring. It's only about an hour long, but I've already had three sessions, and I'm not even through. Does it pick up?

Meanwhile, CONSTELLATION -- as previously mentioned -- is a good show. The different realities are a bit confusing at this point, but I suppose that's the idea with such alternate reality shows.

3 BODY PROBLEM did pick up a bit, after they finished all that Virtual Reality nonsense. So I'm probably gonna tune in for season 2.

Bummer to read about some good shows being cancelled -- CONSTELLATION, BLACK SUMMER, MONARCH.

Hey, how come no one has mentioned the 2019 series version of WAR OF THE WORLDS, with Gabriel Byrne? Just discovered it now on Disney+, and there are three seasons even! Looking forward to delving into that, as the list of shows to see is nearing completion now.

I happened to catch the most recent episode of "SNOWPIERCER". Other than Sean Bean every other character seemed to lack a distinct personalty and they were all the same soulless cardboard cutout whom I couldn't distinguish from one another.

Yeah, they need to wrap up SNOWPIERCER now. It's run for a season too much. I was never a super fan of the Bong Joon-ho film to begin with (something about the tone), but I've followed the series because I'm a sucker for the premise, and it was more streamlined; less of the quirky Joon-ho tone. I loved it when they could finally move away from the train a little bit, but I'm glad it's the final season.

I love the premise too. Trains and snowy landscapes are cool.

SNOWPIERCER ended alright.

Not a paranormal show, but I've finally started watching PRISON BREAK. It's one of those iconic shows of today's Golden TV Age that I never really started, but now that it's on Netflix over here, I decided to give it a shot. Wasn't thrilled after 5-6 episodes, but getting into it now. Just started season 2. They are certainly stretching out a premise that isn't suited to so many seasons and episodes, but I'll stay with it now that I've come this far.

MAD MEN is another iconic show that I never started, because the premise sounds a bit boring. But I'll probably get to that too, in due time. And perhaps also THE SOPRANOS properly, rather than just the occasional episode like I used to when it was on linear TV. But I don't have HBO, unfortunately.

A show called LA BREA from 2021 was just added to Netflix, so I've added that as well. Seen first episode, it's cheesy and goofy as hell, with shoddy CGI. It's like a show from about 15-20 years ago, like TERRA NOVA or SURFACE, but could possibly be enjoyable. Will watch a bit more.

Man, you're bringing back memories! I watched Terra and Surface back in the day, both canceled very early.
I tried an episode of La Brea and yeah its what you said. Pretty cringe, didn't watch anymore episodes.
