All three seasons are unrelated/different characters and can be seen separately.

If i had to recommend a series Cinemascope it would be series 2.
S1 is very slow and mcgonaughey's mumbling is incomprehensible - however it does improve last few episodes.
S3 is painfully slow - powerful stuff and confusing but little happens.

Yeah, another bloody Sky Atlantic series I'd like to see. I'll have to buy the discs when they're released.

Been watching Star Trek: Discovery. Loved Season 1. Loving Season 2.

Also started on Punisher S2. Liked what I'm seeing so far.

Ozark season 1. Just a couple of episodes in but it's very good so far and Jason Bateman and the rest of the cast are excellent. I also liked his direction in episode 1. Looking forward to watching the rest of it.

Stopped watching Tin Star after 4 episodes, I think it was. Pretty bad writing ruining an interesting set-up.

Yeah after series one promised so much but went barking mad and utterly silly crap at the end, i didnt bother starting series 2, despite relentless sky ads.
By the sound if it, i did right by avoiding it.

Alan Partridge This Time

It's probably his weakest series, and it might be due to the format for me more than anything, but there are still some funny moments and lines in it.

I Am the Night
8.25/10
A very well acted and well cast 6 episode TV series. It's set in the 60s and revolves around the story of Fauna Hodel and the messed up Hodel family. Very interesting. Although much of it is based in fact there's a great deal of liberties taken, with characters and story made up. But it works as a drama and got me interested in reading Fauna Hodel's book. Worth a watch. Chris Pine and India Eisley are excellent.

Tried the YouTube episode of the new Twilight Zone.

Yeah.

yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh.

Huh.

That was clearly a half-hour episode stretched to an hour long one. All of the intended "creepiness" was in-my-face like a corn-chip gobbling close-talker. I didn't see the twist coming, but I really didn't feel like seeing it coming anyway. As I feared (so far), it's more concerned with the Zone being the only character rather than having actual characters react to the Zone. If I can see more free episodes, I'll still brave those, but so far for CBS Abscess, it ain't working. Bring on Apple+'s Outer Limits!

  • Pay or die JJ!

It was legally free from CBS Excess. And they now owe me a subscription.

It showed on tv in the last two months. It's brand new. The last four episodes felt more like classic Partridge, so i'll go back and rewatch them all at some stage and probably enjoy the first two episodes a bit more.

I assume it's on British TV only...no NETFLIX or DVD?

Billions is back - smugger, slicker, dripping with good but unnatural film references between the characters. But its still great.

    Enjoying it.
