My favorite "short" Herrmann score remains "The Lonely" from THE TWILIGHT ZONE. Based on what I have heard, I think that we are going to be spoiled absolutely rotten as film music fanatics with incredible new releases of Herrmann music in 2011-2012. I highly recommend buying this release. It's wonderful. I certainly hope so with Leonard Rosenman,Lalo Schifrin and Lyn Murray amongst the composers on the other 76 episodes of The Alfred Hitchcock Hour. It will probably depend greatly on how well these first two volumes have sold and will sell.
