The whole film is worth watching purely for the score! It's a stunning achievement and I can't believe no one ever mentions this score around here. If you do a search you will find that some fans, including me, have mentioned this score several times !! I even suggested it to labels like Intrada, at least, 5 years ago so there are either some problems like missing tapes, etc. or none of the label is interested to release it.[/endquote I was not able to find previous references to this score, my apologies. It really is a superb work. I've written to Mr. Folk multiple times about a potential release of this and SAVAGE HARVEST, and sadly have never received a reply. I have also never heard him reference any score of his prior to Police Academy. Damn shame, as the time period from 1981-83 featured some of his most melodically beautiful and classically-rich work. His score for the 1983 TV doc THE PLANETS, as heard in a 20 min. suite on his early 90's promo album, is utterly gorgeous.
