This is a bit of a Christmas classic for me, got a used copy for just under 20 bucks on eBay today, I'm a happy camper!

Why pay just under $20? It's still available from Intrada (or MM where shipping is only a buck). You could have got a brand new copy for just over $20. The price being virtually the same that would have been my preference.

19.95 shipped from ebay beats all those options. And I'm in Canada.

I'm glad I got a chance to pick this up at a signing and got it signed! This is a wonderful score to such a great holiday movie!

So happy to add my name to the list of 1500 owners of this lovely little score!!

Managed to land a sealed copy on eBay recently, and couldn't be happier - will be listening to this a lot this season!

It's TUUURBOOOO TIMEEEE!!

I also heard that the parade was filmed sometime in the summer, and that everyone was absolutely dying in the costumes! Any truth to that?

Great score.
Sounds nothing like Christmas though.
And I'm sure it was temped with THE LAST STARFIGHTER. I'm always reminded of that when I play it.
Newman's action/adventure/comedy scores are ace.
I think the film is awful though.

It is truly a bad Christmas film, an embrace of everything commercial and shallow.
I can usually give a slight pass to most Christmas films but this one is not one of them.
Deck the Halls and Christmas with the Kranks are also a terrible films.

Now that Disney owns Fox, what are the chances this ever sees the light of day again?

The score.

Oh, okay.
It was unlikely to see the light of day again anyway, as the first go-round didn't sell out and was discontinued, to the best of my knowledge.

It's one of my favorite D. Newman (or any Newman) scores and it's a holiday classic. It's a pity that others don't agree.

Good themes and fun action music...

Yeah, I find it hard to believe that this rich, thematic, catchy score gets called "mediocure"....ah well, *I* think it's a fantastic disc and that's all that matters.

I played this last week. I still find it rather boring. Neither rich or catchy. He's really hot and cold with me. I love Operation Dumbo Drop, The Phantom and Galaxy Quest. But many other scores people sing his praises over I find dull and unmemorable like Jingle, Anastasia and DuckTails.

I’m still waiting for The Flintstones, one of my holy grails. Love that score.

I’d love to see The Flintstones released someday. Wonderful score.

Dang it, I was hoping some additional copies turned up somewhere (Like LLL’s recent mini batches earlier in the month)
